Street entertainment starts at 6.00pm next Friday 28th November.
We have performances from Sheila Anne McCallum and Lorna Hume, followed by some songs performed by Alex Clarke from Alexandria. Alex will also be performing in the Burnside Bar after the Switch On.
Santa’s grotto will be held once again in the Town Hall. Mandy Beveridge will be playing her harp inside for entertainment.
The route for the parade at 7.00pm is as usual, leave Hazelburn Business Park, along Aqualibrium Avenue, along the dual carriageway to the mini roundabout and back again, up Main Street by the Town Hall and dispersing round the corner from The Club.
Could we ask people to remember that the street lights will be off for a period of time. It would be great if people avoided parking in Main Street as this causes onlookers out onto the street beside the moving vehicles in the parade.
Signs will be displayed in Burnside Car Park to remind people not to park there on Friday during the day as we need to get the kids entertainment set up.
Many thanks to Argyll and Bute Council for processing our necessary permission’s at very short notice to allow the funfair to be situated there.
Parade participants, please assemble at Hazelburn Business Park at 6.30/45pm for departure at 7.00pm. Those walking, please meet inside the business park, vehicles park along Millknowe Road. Santa and any necessary emergency services will be at the end of the parade.
